In an observational medical device performance study, 20 Thommen Medical implants were placed and early loaded after 21 days.

According to the authors all implants healed uneventfully and achieved an ISQ value of ≥70. The assessment of clinical parameters revealed stable tissue integration and the marginal bone levels had stabilized at the border between the rough surface and the machined implant collar. The authors conclude, that the treatment appears to be a safe and predictable.
