The harvested connective tissue graft was briefly placed on the recipient site to demonstrate, that most of the volume of the graft is needed in the area of the implant shoulder. However, the needle must be positioned far enough apically for the full length of the graft to be drawn into the tunnel. Afterwards the filler material was inserted into the gap between the implant and the buccal bone plate.
