Socket Shield Technique for Immediate Implant Placement

The Thommen Medical SPI® ELEMENT implant was used in this study, healed without adverse events and revealed healthy conditions at peri-implant probing.

In a recently published study the 5-year outcome of patients treated with implant replacement with socket shield technique was presented. The authors conclude, that this technique is a promising treatment approach for implants in the esthetic zone. The Thommen Medical SPI® ELEMENT implant was used in this study, healed without adverse events and revealed healthy conditions at peri-implant probing.
