Volumetric Alterations Around Single-Tooth Implants

Patients received the socket-shield technique.

Volumetric alterations around single-tooth implants using the socket-shield technique: preliminary results of a prospective case series.

In a recently published prospective cohort study, patients received the socket-shield technique with immediate implantation of the Thommen Medical SPI® CONTACT implants. All implants showed uneventful healing, no intra- or postoperative complications occurred, and the clinical appearance of the gingiva was harmonious.
