Thommen Medical develops, manufactures and distributes products of the highest quality to meet the high customer requirements in terms of safety and aesthetics. In addition to the Thommen Implant System, Thommen Medical also offers biomaterial solutions for bone and tissue regeneration. The Thommen Medical Implant System is based on 35 years of clinical experience.

Thommen Medical is headquartered in Grenchen, Switzerland. The logistics, finance, marketing and sales departments are located here. Production takes place in the company's own manufacturing facility, also in Grenchen. Thommen Medical has subsidiaries in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Canada and the USA.

The company was founded in 2001 and is today largely owned by two private investor groups and Novartis.
