Hati Dental AG was founded in 1996 and acquired by Thommen Medical AG in 2001. In the same year it was renamed a subsidiary of Thommen Medical (Switzerland) AG.
On January 1, 2014 the headquarters of Thommen Medical AG was moved from Waldenburg to Grenchen and Thommen Medical (Schweiz) AG was merged with the headquarters to form Thommen Medical AG.
